Unforeseen Future Oddity

U.F.O., Unforeseen Future Oddity, is about a Senior CIA Agent, named Patrick Lamburgh, who ends up being met by unknown enemies from the future.  As he battles the enemy throughout the game he comes into possession of one of the enemies “jump suits”.  Patrick wears and uses the suit to jump back and forth through time to try and locate the leader of the enemy.  As the agent ventures through the game he learns that some members of the enemy group are his current friend’s future selves and are under some sort of mind control.  The agent ends up finding the leader of the enemy in the White House in the year 2026.  He is surprised to learn that the leader of the enemy turns out to be his future self.  His future self tells him a background story of what happened and what his plans are to prevent it from happening.  After hearing everything he has to say, the agent is not sure what to do.  It’s up to the player to decide whether to spare his future self, accept what he has heard, and help finish the mission or to end the terror his future self has caused in an attempt to change what he will become.  What would you do?

 

*Please note that this demo was made at the same time as the Scorched Earth demo, so the same robot defaults were used rather than people. I worked on this demo solo and kind of rushed through some of it because I spent a lot of time working with the guys on the other demo. Personally, I think Scorched Earth turned out waaayyy better!
